I wanted to share a few photos of an awesome wedding my partner Jeannine and I had the opportunity to handle in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida this past weekend. Santa Rosa Beach is located on the coast of the Florida Panhandle, basically smack dab in between Pensacola (to the west) and Panama City Beach (to the east).
I’d never been up to the Florida Panhandle before, and was amazed at how beautiful the beaches were:
The wedding took place at three different areas within the WaterColor Resort – Marina Park, Western Lake Park, and their brand new indoor LakeHouse facility.
First off, here are a few photos of the outdoor ceremony at Marina Park:
Here’s the outdoor tent at Western Lake Park where the dinner and first segment of dancing took place. This was a beautiful space, but to be honest, we weren’t used to the humidity – it was in the high 80s with almost 100% humidity, and wow, it makes you realize how easy we have it here in Northern California. 😉
After dinner and a few hours of fun (but sweaty!) outdoor dancing, at 10PM the party moved into the awesome LakeHouse space (which thankfully was air conditioned!) for the cake cutting and several more hours of dancing:
And finally, while we were there exploring the beachfront community the day after the wedding, we discovered a little reminder of home:
PS – If you happen to be hosting a wedding at WaterColor Inn & Resort, are looking for a non-cheesy (no Wedding Wobble here unless you specifically ask for it, we promise!) wedding DJ, and you haven’t been jazzed by the local Emerald Coast wedding DJ options, feel free to contact us. We’d love to make another trip down to the area!
