DJ Jeremy Live @ the Fairmont Hotel Crown Room, May 2012

This mix is the first 30 minute segment of a wedding dance set I recorded live at the Crown Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. It’s a pretty conventional set with a lot of oldies and wedding favorites, and I’ve featured it to counter-balance some of the “fresher” wedding sets I’ve included that contain EDM and other more current music.πŸ˜‰

I should note that the songs in this portion of my set were almost all client requests…Brown Eyed Girl and Shout are songs I am careful with (as they can be perceived as cheesy), and I would never play the Cupid Shuffle unless requested by a client.

Please note that this portion of the set was squarely aimed at pleasing a mixed demographic. I like to try (where possible or appropriate) to start my sets off with music that the older guests will be able to relate to, and sort of progressively ramp up to newer music…the Baby Boom generation guests at weddings generally don’t last as late into the night as the younger crowd, so I like to play to that portion of the demographic right out of the gate.πŸ™‚

We make a point to post these LIVE event mixes on a regular basis so our clients can take a listen to how I mix at an actual event – if you are interested in checking out additional live event mixes I’ve recorded, you’ll find more here: https://soundcloud.com/jeremy-2/sets/dj-jeremy-live-event-mixes

NOTE: ALL DJ MIXES AVAILABLE HERE ARE FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY AND ARE BEING OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE. ANY COMMERCIAL USE OF THESE MIXES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
